  • 1- Required Documents for Comprehensive Car Insurance Claim

    Required Documents for Comprehensive Car Insurance Claim

    To ensure the comprehensive and timely processing of a claim under comprehensive car insurance, the following documents must be completed. Additional documents may be requested depending on the type of damage.

    General Damage Situations - Required Documents:

    • Traffic Accident Report / Agreement Accident Report / Statement and Witness Report

    • Declaration in the absence of a report or record

    • Accident scene photographs

    • Vehicle registration copy

    • Driver’s license copy

    • Alcohol report (if requested by the authorities)

    • If it is a collision or chain accident, copies of the registration, driver’s license, and traffic policy of the other vehicle(s)

    • Repair invoice if damage repair was performed

    • If there is a lien on the vehicle, a D/M consent for payment to be made to the policyholder

    Additional Documents for Special Cases:

    In the Case of Vehicle Theft:

    • Police report

    • Police and auto theft office letter stating the vehicle has not been found (if not found within 30 days from the date of theft)

    • Original vehicle registration stamped with “Stolen”

    • If there is a lien on the vehicle, a positive D/M consent and a notarized letter confirming the removal of the lien

    • “No debt” letter from the tax office

    • A letter from the traffic registration office confirming the vehicle’s traffic record has been cleared

    For Radio-Tape Theft Claims: (Note: If your policy includes coverage for the radio-tape and the theft results in the termination of coverage, it will be necessary to add a new coverage for the device if a new device is installed.)
