Erection All Risk Insurance

This insurance provides coverage against all types of sudden and unforeseen damages and losses that may occur at the erection (installation) site during the period the insured items are present. All risks, except those specifically excluded in the policy, are included in this coverage.

The primary purpose of this insurance is to protect against potential damages that may arise during the erection process and to ensure comprehensive security for the project.

Optional covareges

Depending on the needs and requests of the insured or the employer, the following additional coverages can be included in the Erection All Risk policy:

  • Machinery, tools, and equipment used for installation, as well as temporary shelters and auxiliary facilities

  • Legal liabilities arising from damages to third parties

  • Debris removal costs following a loss

  • Overtime charges and transportation costs (excluding air freight)

  • Losses due to strikes, lockouts, riots, and civil commotions

  • Damages occurring during the testing (trial) period exceeding four weeks

  • Losses resulting from acts of terrorism, sabotage, and related preventative measures

  • Environmental pollution losses directly or indirectly caused by insured risks

Exclusions from Coverage

While the policy provides extensive protection against a wide range of risks during the erection phase, the following situations are not covered:

  • Damages resulting from war, invasion, rebellion, civil war, or revolution

  • Losses caused by nuclear fuel or radiation sources

  • Damages resulting from actions taken by public authorities involving the insured property

  • Direct damages due to erection errors, casting defects, material flaws, or miscalculations

  • Losses due to wear and tear, corrosion, rust, or decay

  • Mechanical or electrical breakdowns of machinery and equipment used in erection

  • Inventory shortages

  • Losses resulting from willful misconduct or gross negligence by the insured or a responsible party

  • Damages occurring after the erection has been completed and handed over to the employer

  • Loss of profit or aesthetic defects caused by delays, stoppages, or incomplete erection

  • Damages to vehicles used for air, land, or sea transport related to the erection

  • Losses involving cash, securities, invoices, debt documents, or construction plans

  • Chemical or biological damages resulting from acts of terrorism, sabotage, or related interventions
